Housing
Keep Homes Available:
- Prevent large corporations and hedge funds from buying housing off the market
- Ensure single family housing remains affordable for families in District 13
Promote First Time Home Ownership:
- Provide capital for infrastructure, school capacity, and permitting modernization to support additional housing units created by local land‑use reforms
Food
- Establish a Food Price Commission to research and audit prices.
- Subsidize all food producers to produce only organic food with the safety net of the US government purchasing all food that expires naturally.
- Tax preservatives, additives, food colorings to the same degree cigarettes are taxed.
- Shift subsidies from large corporate farms to small family owned farms.
Small Businesses
- Promote fair competition, strengthen rural economies, and improve equitable access to federal agricultural programs for small farms
Protect Small Farms:
Inflation
- Establish a Commission on Inflation to address rent, home prices, and insurance.
- Instate assistance programs for low-income families to purchase essential groceries.
- Restrict Investment corporations and REITs (trusts that own over 10 single-family housing units) from purchasing single-family housing units.
Seniors
- Initiate a 3% flat tax on all corporations with one billion in total revenue, that would eliminate all taxes for all taxpayers over the age
Education
Increase Awareness of Real Issues:
- Fund public education around cancer causing, alzheimer causing, ADHD causing impacts of preservatives, additives, food colorings.
Educate Children on Real World Skills:
- Require curricula for high school students in financial literacy, taxes, bills, and banking. Also introduce career idea programs to create career plans and outlines for students.
Prevent Trafficking:
- Fund Anti-trafficking public education to empower society with knowledge on how to identify and prevent sex trafficking.
Social Issues
- Increase resources for disaster relief, federal loans, technology programs, subsidies, and mental health resources.
- School districts shall be funded for adopt cyberbullying-specific prevention curriculum, emotional intelligence curriculum and annual training for all school employees to prevent school shootings
Healthcare
Make Medication Affordable:
- Set price benchmarks to essential medications like Xarelto.
- Create annual maximum out-of-pocket cost limits for Medicare beneficiaries who need prescription medications and other services.
Improve the Medication Industry:
- Address rising healthcare costs by improving competition within regional healthcare markets
Ensure Consumers Have All The Information:
- Establish greater healthcare pricing transparency by requiring hospitals to provide to the public pricing guidelines and digital resources in understandable language.
- Require the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to negotiate maximum brand name drug prices.
- Require insurers, pharmacies, and hospitals to report out-of-pocket costs and standard charges publicly.
Protect Social Security:
- Take measures to ensure the legitimacy of Social Security payments such as by verifying recipients are not duplicated or deceased.
Immigration
- Apply due process to all immigration proceedings and abide by the US Constitution.
- Secure the border AND create a realistic path for long-term, non-criminal immigrants already here by financing all immigration fees over a 10 year period so that all immigrants can afford to become citizens.
Oversight & Governance
Congressional Reform:
- 10-year term limits for House, Senate, and Supreme Court.
- Ban Congress and families from trading securities/stocks.
- Ban the "Revolving Door": 5-year wait to become a lobbyist.
- Single-issue bills only (No more "pork" or package bills).
Fiscal Responsibility:
- Make government shutdowns impossible by defaulting to previous funding.
- Limit stock buybacks to 5% of earnings; prioritize employee wages.
- Balance the budget over 10 years and set 3% GDP deficit targets.
- End corporate welfare and taxpayer subsidies for megacorps.
Transparency & Justice:
- Require bill text to be public for 2 weeks before voting.
- Establish a State Collaboration Committee for local solutions.
- Investigate DHS and prosecute Epstein accomplices.
